Caren is a reporter and fill in anchor in Lynchburg, Virginia for an ABC affiliate.

After a year in the Danville bureau, she moved to the main newsroom in Lynchburg. She covers general assignment news.

Caren interned for WFAA channel 8 in Dallas, Texas in the fall of 2015 where she shadowed anchors and reporters in the field to learn basic skills and gain experience in a top 5 market.  Caren loves to share stories of her local community.  Caren calls Connecticut home, but she has lived in Washington DC, New York City, and San Francisco. These moves have taught her to interact with a myriad of people, and be flexible in new environments. Caren graduated from Georgetown University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management and Policy. After working at Memorial Sloan-Kettering for two years in New York City doing hospital administration, she decided to pursue a Master's in Public Health from the University of San Francisco. Caren graduated as President of her class, and magna cum laude in August of 2015 from her Master's Program. Caren aims to positively impact her community through a career in broadcast journalism by utilizing her professional experience and education from Georgetown University and the University of San Francisco. 

Caren's favorite things include traveling to new places, spending time with her family and friends, and watching documentaries.
